Hmmm. I'm not sure I'm main keen on the link-only, 'please check out our wiki' answer here. The code sample's probably just about short enough to reproduce here. Is Github considered stable enough to avoid linkrot? Should the copyright notice at the start of the code sample prevent me from reposting it into the answer?
Wee poke about took me to some advice on copyrighted code here, which clears that one up.
 
On their wiki (github.com/matrix-io/matrix-creator-quickstart/wiki) they say post any questions on raspberrypi.stackexchange.com and then they answer on here by pointing people to their wiki ???

@goobering: I'm not particularly fond of it either, though I don't think the copyright is an issue. The code is released under the GNU on github, so that should be fine.
I do think it's borderline spam though, and have flagged it as such. One of the mods can make the hard decision.
