@RPiAwesomeness do you have experience with messing with the Pi's GPIO pins?

I have a really unorthodox little problem that doesn't really require a fully fledged answer... more of a mental block

I need to connect the Pi's pins in series lol

I mean:

I need approx. 12V to trigger something and I want to use GPIO pins 1, 2, 3, 4 to provide their 3.3V each

so if I connect them in series, I'll have like 13.2V which is fine

oh and of course, using the GND pin for the return path

but I have no ideas on how to wire these pins in series

it ain't as easy as, say, wiring batteries in series

I'll check again if there's someone in there

that room is also kinda idle

I used to use SE's chat a lot until SF's Comms Room moved out of this platform

they moved out because they didn't agree with some choices made by SE

so now they use Slack
