@goldilocks This all makes a lot of sense, especially the points about no free answers, and learning to fish, though the community voted the other way at meta way back when you were getting started. (I don't think SE has a no overlap policy, but I could have misunderstood something.) I am new here, and perhaps I should have 'let sleeping dogs lie'.
