I would like to implement the proposal I made here. How do I go about doing that?

Also, I would be willing to do as you suggested in the comment if you think that is better.

A: Tag management 2017

Michael Albanese Proposal: Rename spinor to "spin-geometry". Most of the questions with the spinor tag are really about spin geometry; spinors are just a particular aspect of spin geometry. It currently isn't clear if one should use the tag if the question is about other questions related to spin/spin$^c$/pi...

Perhaps leaving also spinor but making it synonym of master tag spin-geometry might be useful. (So that if some people search for spinor tag, spin-geometry is added automatically.) — Martin Sleziak Jan 30 at 13:19
Only moderators can change name of a tag. So you need to attract attention of a moderator. Probably flagging is the most efficient way, other possibility would be asking in Moderators' Office.
Synonym can be created without moderators, but you need score at least 5 in the tag. (And you need other users with score at least 5 to vote for the synonym.)
So in this case this is not possible - since tag does not exist at all.
Even for existing tag, not many users vote for synonyms. (Many users are probably unaware of possibility to vote.) I guess most of existing synonyms have been created by moderators, not through votes of regular users.
In mathematics, spin geometry is the area of differential geometry and topology where objects like spin manifolds and Dirac operators, and the various associated index theorems have come to play a fundamental role both in mathematics and in mathematical physics. An important generalisation is the theory of symplectic Dirac operators in symplectic spin geometry and symplectic topology, which have become important fields of mathematical research. == See also == Symplectic topology Spinor Spinor bundle Spin manifold == Books == Lawson, H. In geometry and physics, spinors are elements of a (complex) vector space that can be associated with Euclidean space. Like geometric vectors and more general tensors, spinors transform linearly when the Euclidean space is subjected to a slight (infinitesimal) rotation. When a sequence of such small rotations is composed (integrated) to form an overall final rotation, however, the resulting spinor transformation depends on which sequence of small rotations was used: unlike vectors and tensors, a spinor transforms to its negative when the space is rotated through a complete turn from 0° to 360°...

Q: Is it possible to find out whether a tag have been removed by an automated process?

Martin SleziakA tag which exists only on one question is automatically deleted after certain time unless it has a tag-wiki. Is it possible to check whether a tag have been removed by this process (because of being used on a single question)? Specifically: If I remember the name of the tag, can I find out h...

I think the spinor tag should be changed to spin-geometry, as I indicated here. Martin Sleziak informed me in the Tagging chatroom that the former option can only be done by a moderator, and suggested that I could ask about the process here. Is there any chance this can happen?
