I had to create those two tags. I think that adding them as synonyms might increase chances of using that tag, where appropriate.
(Although very probably, if someone starts typing superior, after sup they could notice limsup. This could help if someone tries to type something like limit superior as a tag.)
I'm have difficulty solving this problem in my textbook.
Does $x^2+x+1 \equiv 0\pmod{997}$ have solutions? Why or why not?
I guess the first step would be
$$
\begin{array}{l}
(2x+1)^2 \equiv (-3)\pmod{997} \\
y^2 \equiv -3\pmod{997}
\end{array}
$$
Is that mean no solution ?
@900sit-upsaday Since you have mentioned the list of editors, I doubt that somebody could takeover Michael Hardy in near future.
BTW I'm not sure, but I thing that I have read somewhere that if only tags are changed (and there are no changes in the actual post), it does not count as an edit.
