"No religion in the world can destroy hinduism. Soon there is going to be a great spiritual light that will spread throughout the world. That spiritual light will be from Chennai".

“Countries such as America would become increasingly spiritual because they will have realized from the height of material prosperity the simple truth that gross materialism cannot give eternal peace.”
“India will be free in another fifty years and freedom will come in an unusual way. A great war will flare up within twenty years, and if the Western nations do not give up their stark materialism, another world war is inevitable.”
In 1897, when even the first world war has not taken place, there was no ray of hope for India to be free within fifty years. So his prediction might have sounded absurd at that time.But after second world war the British were forced by the circumstances to leave India. So exactly after fifty years India became free.
“This is your century, but 21st century is India’s century. Those barbarians and marauders who conquered us and plundered our Country would come back to our Country to pay homage to our ancient sages and saints”.
"Swami Vivekananda had predicted that the first proletarian revolution will take place in Russia. This seemed to be strange to have at the time. If this prediction was made, for example, in 1890, and after Karl Marx, the chances were bright, where the trade union movement was quite strong. Thus, the probability was higher in Germany. Contrary to possibility, as it happened to be prophecized by Swamiji, the revolution took place in Russia."

Swami Vivekananda also talked about vengeance of God on the British. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord', and destruction is coming. What are your Christians? Not one third of the world. Look at those Chinese, millions of them. They are the vengeance of God that will light upon you. There will be another invasion of the Huns", adding, with a little chuckle, "they will sweep over Europe, they will not leave one stone standing upon another."
