@CanadianLuke I'm all for you doing that if you want to take charge
I'd suggest doing a Question of the Month though
You get burned out pretty quick doing weekly ones

@KronoS @JourneymanGeek If I did take it on, is it simply asking the community for their vote of which question deserves to be it, then do a copy and paste with the source cited, or am I free to do commentary as well?

The point of the blog isn't to be a rehash of the content found in the site. It's meant to supplement it. So commentary is not only welcome, but highly encouraged. Look at the question selected (note: it doesn't have to be the one that most popular on site or the meta post) and see what you can do to improve it, expound upon it, and/or test it out.
that make sense @CanadianLuke
here's a quick example
this one is a great question with a great answer

Q: What's the difference between mobile and desktop processors?

JamesDonnellyI just read about the new Samsung Galaxy Note Edge having a 2.7GHz quad-core processor and 3gb of Ram. The laptop I bought last year by HP is 4 Gb of ram and 2.3GHz quad-core and my iMac is even older and is 2.5GHz i5. My question is does this mean that the new Samsung gadget is more powerful...

BUT, there's really nothing more that can be added

A: "Turn off router for 10 seconds" - Quantifiable?

Enis P. AginićYes there is. Any electronics device will have capacitors that will store energy even after you unplug it. You may have noticed when you unplug, say a monitor or TV, the little diode will take another second or two to discharge remaining energy from the capacitors in form of electricity and stop...

has potential
you can take multiple of the answer and combine them into a summary
you can go into what capacitors are and how they work
you could even test/research to see how long capacitors take to discharge
there's potential to add back to the site by creating a blog post

@KronoS got it.will make a meta post when I get back to the office

Would you guys care if I made it "Question of the Month" instead? I don't know if I could commit to once every week or two weeks

11:37 PM
I think that would work better IMO
