@Yuuki Once I finish my current ascension I'll put enough money in the KoL clan to buy a basement, would you mind making me leader again, so I can buy it the second I put the meat in? I'm currently doing the palindrome paret of the macguffin quest, after that there is the war and the sorceress, so in a couple days I'll be able to lift hardcore and access my meat in Hagnk
Or at least I should be able to get to it in a couple of days.
> This project is the culmination of a lot of work and a bunch of crazy interests: procedural content, urbanism, quadrupedal locomotion, and dogs -- how they play, the stories we tell about them, and what makes them tick.
@GodEmperorDune Right, but the Dog Park game mode is what the game was originally (I think) and is included.
I play Minecraft once a while. But this time when I played I noticed something weird. The zombies walk around me as if I am not there. The game is in normal mode and when I attack the zombies, they just stand there. I'm not sure what's going on. In addition, when I trap them in an enclosed wood h...
Welp, I guess I'm going to california in a month to hang out with people who are going to a convention that I don't really have any direct interest in.
@Wipqozn I forgot about @GnomeSlice, but I imagine he doesn't have much experience with banks yet and wishing to be Canadian would count if @Sterno actually resided in Canada. As for @Frank... blame @fredley for being first tab completion for @fr
@GnomeSlice But I want to hang out with the people because they are good people. The fact that they will spend their days at a dumb video game convention for some bad video games is their business. I will be sleeping off my hangovers.
I've tried a large number of solutions to the problems that 64 bit Windows 7 has with Generals and Zero Hour, to no avail. I've been trawling all over the internet for a fix for my problem.
To wit, I've properly created the options.ini file with proper file type as well as altering the resolutio...
Like. If I weren't renting a car to get from LAX to Anaheim because it is literally cheaper than any other means of doing so, I would be getting hammered on the plane and drunk before I hit the ground.
Valhalla Lost is what i am going to share with you today.

I have 3 buddies to farm Crawmerax with and we can kill him rather quickly like 3 minutes or less, but the legendary and pearlescent gear gets bogged down in the blue and purple crap. As for me, card battle games are excellent.
You can even promote your strategy and skills in it.
Can anyone share me with your favorite game? CCG or TCG would be better~
Thx.
Inspired by this question Which vendors have a lot of cash?, I was pondering how best to get all of the gold bars out of the vault?
Collecting these bars quickly exceeds the carrying capacity of the the courier and you then have to get out past Elijah. I am playing it on the PC and last time I j...
I'm looking to create a modded server, with just a few mods in it, (pretty much just Extra Utilities and Botania), and I'm wondering what the basics I need to do are. Do I just need to add the jar's to a mod folder, and MC picks them up, or is there an in between step I need too?
I would like to know alternatives to raptr for tracking gametime (I would prefer automatically but if manually is all that's available I'll settle for it) and trophies/achievements. I know about some sites like exophase and playfire but these do not let me add/recognize older games like NES, SNES...
I've dived into unmanned exploration with RemoteTech mod for added challenge. I know nothing when it comes to consoles, but I know a lot about computers. What is the difference between a computer and a console in the following terms:
In computer, we buy a DVD/CD, and we install games on it. Thereafter, we don't need the DVD/CD to play the game(except in some cases). So, ...

@KevinvanderVelden They don't malfunction, they just are too thin, and at that point you start wrecking other carparts when braking. And those cost a lot and are not that good at braking.
@KevinvanderVelden The other parts are still part of your braking system, but it's just that the padding in between is gone, so now you brake by smashing metal into metal. ANd that noise is horrifying. And these metal parts are kinda pricey.
@Frank what I was referring to was that it wasn't braking as much as accelerating you backwards, so not releasing the brakes would cause you to go backwards =p
Or alternatively we could realize that we've invented a way to provide thrust while breaking newtons third law and get flying cars, easy spaceflight etc
He seems to ignore Newton's Third Law just fine whenever he flies in space, unless he's silently ejecting copious amounts of gas from his behind in the movies
Oh, and as I read further down the transcript, someone already said that.
Although that was the brand name, so if you look for them these days you have to look for "Reusable stickers" and then hope it's actually the colorform type things and not just stickers that lose slightly less stick every time you peel them off.
Man, that image looks so awesome, I kind of want those colorforms now
Is it possible to install a new language pack to euro truck simulator?
I have installed a russian, lithuanian language version of the software and I am interested in changing the language to English from the game itself or by adding a mod.
Please help me if you got an idea.
Thanks.
I don't think I've talked much this before, but for the whole of the past year, we've been in legal dispute with our freeholder (the person who owns the building in which the flat we own is situated - yay property law). Today, 4 days before the court date, they've folded, and met our demands.
@KevinvanderVelden Renewal of the lease. It's very, very complicated, but basically we own a lease for ~88 years for the property, after which it would revert to the freeholder. This is how most flats work in the UK. We are paying to extend our lease by 90 years (protecting our investment in the flat). We have to pay a portion of the value of the flat to the freeholder to do this. The dispute was over how much we should pay (we have ended up paying half what they were asking for).
@KevinvanderVelden It's a totally fucked up system, and we knew all about this when we bought it. The painfulness of this process is how we were even able to buy the place anyway.
We had a choice between shitnesses, given the price point we were looking at in London: we could have had a flat overlooking a prison, or a mainline, 24hr train line, or 1hr+ from the centre, but we chose the one with the lease shitness.
@KevinvanderVelden We have endured our pain, now we own a piece of prime London real estate with a very secure lease. Hopefully worth it in the long run.
@Sterno Soooooooooooo. The issue is that leases with less than 90 years to go are subject to the above conditions on renewal, i.e. you have to pay the freeholder a 'marriage value'. This amount goes up as the length on the lease ticks down, making the property a ticking time-bomb. Investment-wise, it means you're in a bit of trouble as you could well end up losing money on the property, even if house prices go up. By extending by another 90 years (and dealing with all the shitness),
if/when we come to sell in a few years time, the lease will be in a much stronger state than when we bought it, adding value, and meaning it's no longer in time-bomb state.
> In one case in Knightsbridge, flat-owners were each sent a demand for £14,000 for "major works" to the roof. If you totted up the contributions which had been asked of all leaseholders, it came to an astronomical sum way beyond anything which might reasonably have been spent on repairing a roof. What the money was really for, the leaseholders later found out, was building an extra two flats on the roof — which the freeholder was then going to sell entirely for his own benefit.
