If you want to imply that enforcing policy as it has been for the last year and change is the wrong way to do it, I'm going to take exception to that. Remove the off-topic cruft, leave the question for legitimate future users. This is how I've been enforcing policy for the last year and change.

I've always understood the policy to mean the supporting people with pirated game is off-topic, because that's exactly what the FAQ says.

@Mistu4u Dota1 is far more widely played. Mostly because in China/Korea the game is restricted. Also, places like SEA, Russia, and South America don't have good enough computers to play Dota2 and so still play the original. It's estimated that Dota1 had about 10-12 million players across the world prior to Dota2. It's probably fallen since then, but there are definitely still a ton of people playing.
