I fenced in 16 sheep on my map, and know there are no more animals spawning. I killed oned to see if that would do anything (a while ago), but that hasn't done anything. I've looked all over the map and havn't seen any animals spawn, so should I just kill the rest of my sheep and see if that does...

I actually have a legitimate question: in TF2 when you're set on fire the game will play one of three files: [class]_autoonfire01, [class]_autoonfire02, or [class]_autoonfire03. Does the game pick one of them at random?

According to the TF2 wiki: "Voice Responses are contextually triggered lines that play after the player has achieved something, for instance killing a certain amount of enemies with a Primary or Melee Weapon, or the player has triggered something, like being set on fire."

@Scootaloo I dont know much about it but as far as I know there is not much you can do against DDOS attacks, your best bet is to block IP's and ports, but any descent attack will shift IP's and attack a port that is vital for the server.

How does Google handle a DDOS? I'd imagine they have enough servers that they would hardly even notice one and mistake it for normal traffic XD.

@Scootaloo DDoS attacks happen through one of two vectors, and only one is blockable really. The most common one are hacked servers all over the planet ("zombies"), which you can't block (there are thousands to millions of source IP addresses, always changing, from nearly every country), just use traffic shaping to mitigate the damage and bear it out.

The other is a configuration weakness in a common protocol (like DNS) which leads to significantly more traffic answering a specific request paired with faked source IP addresses. The attackers send those requests with YOUR source IP, the answers (significantly larger) arrive back at you, DDoSing you. Those you can block, but you need to identify it properly.

Turning off the servers is what the attackers want to force you to; in general, it's a bad idea.
