@Fluttershy I'm going to have to agree with @fbueckert. According to Google Maps, it would take you a mere 10.5 hours to get to Charlotte, NC. Me, it would take 6 hours on a plane (including a layover in Toronto) to get me to Winnipeg. You've got it easy :P
@StrixVaria Actually, the NS roads are the easy part. I can average well over 100km/h. It's everything beyond Fredericton (or through Maine) that's the problem.
In DayZ, I've run into a problem. That problem is finding more weapons than I know what to do with.
Luckily, I also managed to find a nice 24-slot backpack! I know I can put bandages and various other supplies in said backpack, but that doesn't help me carry more weapons, as my arms are in short...

I was just looking at that internet map thing and I noticed something disturbing: lemonparty (don't look at it) is very close to SO. Closer than to any other not-tiny site
@GnomeSlice That bassline thing kind of blends into itself too much and it's too dissonant from the staccato higher pitched thing in the first half. The parts just aren't coherent with each other. I can't really tell pitches by ear but it sounds like things may not even be in the same key as each other.
I also just don't like the sound of that patch (or whatever the word is for "instrument" in electronica) that you're using for the bassline, but that's just preference.

I can sightread piano if I go very slowly, and I have the ear for it apparently but I don't practice enough because I dont like the repetition. But I cant make anything original to save my life.
There are a few Beethoven Sonatas I just sat down and was like "meh I'm playing this one today" and did it pretty passably without ever having played it before.
It helped that I knew how it went, though.
I cannot play anything by ear. If I don't have sheet music, I will never be able to play it.
@GnomeSlice I had the same teacher for the first ~13 years of my ~15 years, and when I went to the second teacher he was astonished at my good technique. I guess the first teacher was pretty good.

Polaris, Darkness War, Ankh, Facility, Slaughterhouse, and the three Hell instances.
the ones that are pre-Transylvania (Polaris, Darkness War, Ankh, and the first two hell instances), have an Elite Mode, which is tuned for QL 9-10 players and drops QL10 blues.
The Transylvania instances are only availiable on Elite difficulty, there is no 'normal'. They are also tuned for ql9-10 and drop ql 10 blues.
Once you've completed all 8 on Elite difficulty, you unlock the Gatekeeper quest. Defeat the Gatekeeper, and you can run Nightmare modes, which are a substantially harder difficulty, with a daily lockout.
There are, at present, only 5 nightmare mode dungeons, however, as of tomorrow, I believe they're adding one or two more in the 1.1 update.

I'm planning on formatting my hard drive and deal with all the hassle that comes with it. My one concern is, where is the saved game file for DayZ? Will I be able to transfer it to my fresh new install of Windows, or will I have to start a new character?
I'm normally not a fan of melee in mmo, but that's because in MMOs it's normally just stand there. swing sword. be healed. But melee in GW2 is actually -really- good. You need to move, dodge, et cetera... you know, actually think about what you're doing. So I'd like to have a melee and ranged character, plus the guardian is a -lot- of fun and I'd love to do the support/healing/control it offers.
@RonanForman Woo! Also it seems like you have to rightclick on a room name before you can send text to it now, which is kind of unintuitive and confusing. Is there anywhere to change that?
