For the good of Gaming.SE, I actually counted the steps. There are nowhere near 7,000 steps in the game: I counted 732 visible step-like objects (tiered, flat platforms) on the way to High Hrothgar.

I'm level 25 in Skyrim and I don't think I've seen a single bird. I've had some bats fly past me once or twice, but that's about it.
These areas, with the mountains and beautiful terrain, birds should be flying everywhere.
Are there any time-sensitive events in Skyrim, whose occurrence is based on how many in-game days have passed? Or, to phrase it another way, are there any disadvantages to waiting out time indefinitely, as is often suggested for merchant restocking?

The "eye bomb" creatures are mostly unharmed when firing at them, if their eye is closed.

When I join the Legion, I'm able to get some equipment. The Blacksmith asks if I want light, medium or heavy armor.

I've got 130+ hours into skyrim and upon completing the burning of king olaf my game freezes within 5 minutes of loading every time. Has anyone had a similar problem and been able to solve it by any means?
