Has anyone used something like this before? Does it provide any real value with a FP...
You can bind a macro to a key without an addon using SetBindingMacro followed by SaveBindings.
/run SetBindingMacro("SHIFT-A", "mymacro")
/run SaveBindings(2)
Replace SHIFT-A with whatever key you want: A, ALT-A, CTRL-SHIFT-A, etc.
Replace mymacro with the name you gave your macro.

^ that is actually really fucking cool for those that aren't familiar with WoW.
Starting a two player game (TCP/IP or IPX, doesn't matter) works great, but after ~10 minutes of playing the client (and always the client even when switching roles) crashes to desktop without any logfile left. A second, possibly related problem is that on the server one cannot get back to the ga...
Multiseat (see here (SU) and here (unix.SE)) allows multiple users to use one PC with multiple mice/keyboards/monitors as if it were several PCs. It would be great to run some less-hardware-hungry games this way since no second PC were required. Unfortunately all I tried so far didn't work:

Hey, if I install a Steam game on another computer, will my progress from my first computer be available immediately? Or is this game dependent? If not, what's the best way to transfer the progress?
I have played but never completed Creed 2, and want to play Brotherhood without restarting 2.
Are there any recaps out there?
Or can anyone summarise the key plot points for me, so that I don't go into brotherhood with only half the story?
In city-building games like CivCity Rome and the Anno series (in particular I'm playing Anno 1701 right now), is it possible to max out every household with all the numerous goods they need to reach the max level? It seems like an infinite spiral - the higher up the ladder I want to go, the more ...
I connected my PS3 to my TV through HDMI. I have a headphone and an external speaker, both with a TRS connector (3.5MM audio jack) that I would like to use with the PS3 .
My TV however, doesn't have an output port for the TRS connector/audio jack, so I am forced to use the TV's speakers. Is the...
Roll them up in one account, so we can count the scalps of all the failed attempts to pollute our sites!
If you're really competitive, let all the mods have one of their own!
Plus it leaves the devs with a nice backlog of spam messages they could use for heuristics or blacklisting across the n...
It wasn't even supposed to be a prequel, George Lucas just did those three last because he wanted to wait for better graphics technology to be developed.
I am looking for a certain iPhone game. It takes place on the moon, or mars, and is a side scroller. It's basically an astronaut shooting aliens. The entire game is 2D and looks like it is drawn on pieces of paper. It was a demo game in the Apple store when the iPhone 4 came out. I am having load...
I'm still new in Civilization 4 and had a lot of questions about playing the game. I'm finding the game to be insanely complicating so please keep that in mind while giving your answer. If you use too much game jargon I won't understand. Thanks for your help in advance.

As a community moderator I can change someone else's openid. I've tried to do it with a new openid, but instead of adding that id to that user's account it added it to my account instead.
Bejeweled Twist is not a game that knows what "difficulty scaling" is
The only way to end the game is bomb exploding, which they do unless matched in x turns. Up to level 7, x = 20. At level 8, x = 15. At level 9, x = 14. At level 10, x = 5.

In any case, above question I linked - I don't want to be lenient, but I'm considering whether that one really is one or not. Asking if a game exists on a platform is not quite the same as asking about games like that one exist.
> “Radiant storytelling”: “The game eventually logs a huge storehouse of knowledge about how you’ve played, and subsequently tailors content to your capabilities and experiences. Entering a city, a young woman might approach you and beg you to save her daughter from kidnappers. The game will look at the nearby dungeons you’ve explored, automatically set the mission in a place you’ve never visited, and designate opponents that are appropriately matched to your strengths and weaknesses.”
I want to keep my streak constant so that when this is all done, I can tally up how many different comments I wrote to state the new policy on closing.

@tzenes I apologize! I sent that email from a different email account so that you would recognize me, but I didn't set that account to forward to my main account.
@GraceNote The tradeoff however, is that they are far easier to find than Rabbit Ass Court or Deer Antler Drive
I don't need a map of manhattan, you can give me nearly any two addresses and I can give you directions between them and a ballpark figure of how long it'll take to get between the two.
I love the pop-up that is in the very center of this screenshot:
I know Area 51 is very special, but despite that it should include the notification pop-up. I don't know if this is a bug, or if it is invisible, but it should be there:
Is there a special purpose for it not being there, is it l...
@Grace - You deleted my question (as requested), and left a comment... "Hah, I'll take care of it then. Policy is " and that is all I'll ever see since I cant see deleted questions. So if it was something important you'll have to tell me again :-)
I've been watching some replays on Day9 TV (which I highly recommend for any players looking for indepth explanations of strategies) and I noticed he has replays saved in folders within "Multiplayer". It's quite easy to create a folder, but I can't figure out how to save a replay to that folder, ...
Preferably Python - to facilitate creating laborious stuff, say long rail-tracks, etc. Or a way to understand the world file so that I can act on it from outside.
Hi all. Have you come across any gaming site where you can play Rummy with people around the world? I don't want to bet, but rather just want to enjoy the game. Thanks and regards.
Once, I read about a project (not a commercial one) wich consisted in a very light game similar to Cube or something like that (a 3d game). That game could be on a classic floppy disk. That seemed very interesting, but I can´t remember where did I read that.
Any similar project or game available...
Does anyone know of a way to play chess on a PC against someone on an iPhone?
Are there some general servers that use generic APIs where you can just have a client play against a different client?
