@Zaid - I've watched all of the Roadkill episodes. The only one I didn't like was the one where they announced Dodge was now sponsoring them. The thrashed on a Viper, Charger Hellcat, & Challenger Hellcat. Not that the cars were bad, it's just that the episode was stupid. Not with keeping in the Roadkill tradition.
@Zaid - I met Mike Finnegan at the first leg of the 2014 Hot Rod Power Tour in Charlotte, NC.
Very good point. My '94 didn't have one (previous owner), so I bought a MagnaFlow one which was good for 460ci engines ... worked great without restriction, believe it or not, lol.
Here are some clues: big eye fog lights, little eye fog lights, slanty headlights followed by the tear drop body. That's approx 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and following.
I had a 72 Chevelle with a BBC in it. First night I had it running with that engine in it, I ran it open headers. We had to keep our feet on the slanted part of the footwell or our feet would go numb ... it was awesome :D
I haven't looked at it close enough. Every time I see it, it's turning away from me while I'm sitting waiting on people for the van pool.
That's funny. I put header back exhaust into my integra back in the day. That was a pretty loud four cylinder. It sounded like a formula one car in a tunnel though. :-)
I hear yah. They have enough to listen to, as long as I'm not on it all the time, I can listen to them whenever.
I like Sammy or Dave. The other two ... not to sure of.
The lead singer of Extreme didn't do them any favors.
(I don't know his name).
Anyway, you doing okay this evening?
I've been really busy at work, so haven't had anytime to even log in during the day.
I answered the question on the 92 Buick about removing the wheel studs ... I have never had that much of a problem removing/replacing them ... except on a Ford Escort, lol.
If you look at the Output current, it says 3.5A ... at least that's what I was gonig off of. Maybe I was reading the part for the accessory recharge and not the start.
signal is clean up to a point, at which the tube becomes overdriven- how this happens and 'breaks up' the clean signal is why opinion on amps is often polarised. Once you find characteristics you like, you tend to stick with them forever
It makes a bunch of tone changes - but really that's not a core differentiator between US and UK guitar. There are distinct differences in British and US metal (the distortion traditionally used was different) but just changing your eq doesn't give a marked difference like Liverpool to New York etc
@Zaid - R&R wrenching is the worst form of being a mechanic I've ever seen as well.
@RoryAlsop - I'll take a look at your videos. That's pretty awesome if you ask me, though. I love Rammstein (even if I cannot spell it). It's about the heaviest music I'll listen to, and then only on an irregular basis. I mainly listen to classic rock.
@TheOne - IRT mechanics, your best bet is to ask several people in your area who they use. If you can get a consensus of a couple people agreeing on someone, you've probably found a good mechanic.
@TheOne - Also remember that no mechanic is perfect. We all make mistakes. Some will try to cover them up while others will fix it and tell you about it.
@BobCross - We know why you are on here ... because you're an awesome guy. Not saying Mark isn't ... He just doesn't hang out at all. Been inactive for two months? At least you answer when called.
@RoryAlsop - I think I'll need to purchase album #2 ... maybe even #1 ... :D
@RoryAlsop - Making me want to come visit Scotland, lol!
