I have a panel and I don't know how to apply a view to it. So I have my view that basically aggregates a bunch of nodes based on content type.

So maybe to put it another way I'm not sure how to add panel content to the panel. But the panel content being the query the view executes.

@sephiith Well Panels is a complex module and it's often not intuitive, so I'm not surprised that it's hard to understand all of it. In the Panels interface, most "variants" will have a "layout". Each layout has "regions". In each region there will be a cog which you can use to add content to the corresponding region.

I'm not entirely certain if that helps you though, in the question comments you say that disabling the variant didn't break any existing pages. If that's the case, I wonder if the variant was even in use to begin with.

And if it's not in use to begin with, then adding more content to it, wouldn't make much of a difference.
