@JohnP, looks good to me as it is and it is nice to have a study addressed! For comparison or follow-up, a study on exercise alone without diet modification such as corporate.dukemedicine.org/news_and_publications/news_office/… would be interesting.

@BackInShapeBuddy From that study: The groups assigned to aerobic training and aerobic plus resistance training lost more weight than those who did just resistance training. The resistance training group actually gained weight due to an increase in lean body mass.
Well, duh.

@BackInShapeBuddy - To be clear, I wasn't picking on you, although it could read like that. I was more poking at the obviousness of that statement. Even though it refutes somewhat the study I posted (in that exercise type does matter), I think it could me made into a good answer.

@JohnP, definitely didn't take it as you picking on me. It was the first alternate study I looked at, but after reading the actual study, jap.physiology.org/content/113/12/1831 I wouldn't use their conclusions to recommend aerobics over aerobics and resistance training.
