@NicolauSakerNeto I completely agree on that on. But yet it seems, that you will have to sometimes risk something to have "fun". I'd rather see the risk part as a kind of activation barrier...

Yeah I was just being a bit silly

@NicolauSakerNeto That is very much appreciated :D

I almost went to Japan myself

You need thing like that sometimes too. Having crazy thoughts advances science... by a lot.
Why didn't you?

But I found out a day too late about applications for scholarships there
So I decided to get my master's degree in my country after all

1:59 AM
Oh that is too bad. I was very lucky to have been offered a position. I would not have thought about Japan without it.

But I'm definitely going for a doctorate abroad!
Well, I wasn't exactly aiming for it, but had the opportunity presented itself at the right time I would have considered it

Going abroad is a very good way to experience life in a completely new fashion? I do not know where you are from, but where would you like to go?

Well I was planning Australia if everything works out fine

Leaving the comfort zone makes developement much easier, because you have to adjust.

Yeah definitely
Though I stayed in my country (Brazil), I moved some 2000 km for my master's degree, and I've had to live alone meanwhile

2:03 AM
Ohhh... crazy dangerous animals down there! A couple of exchange students arrived here a month ago, told me about it. Watch out! But that place must be rocking...

Hah not really, I've always been a city kid

Wow, Brazil is so huge! I have a friend there. Unfortunately funding a visit is a bit of a problem

From Japan, yeah I can see why!
Practically antipodes on Earth

Well, if you are not in America, you always have to cross the big lakes... Australia is almost the same, different vector though.
From Japan you always have to cross the lakes :D

Well, if I take the geodesic, it's only about 15000 km from here to Australia, though it would involve going over the Antarctic
Which is totally the flight path

2:11 AM
using earth's rotation on the way...

17 hours later…
6:45 PM
What means $BaCuO_x$, is it mixture of $BaO$ and $CuO$?

@GigiButbaia Sort of like H$_2$O being a mixture of O and H.
