Gosh darn it... trying to track down whether a particular statistic exists. A few years back, I was reading an article discussing dangers of alcohol for young women and they quoted some statistics showing that women were at risk for violence when drinking... but the major risk was self-inflicted injury with things like broken hands from punching walls exceeding injuries from being assaulted.

Thing is, now I can't find that article or its statistics, which means I don't even have a notable claim to ask on the site.
