Boss is asking for my resume on company's format. What could be the reason?

@user24454 does your company do contracting for other companies (or a government)? When I worked for a government contractor I had to produce a resume in various formats a few times, to be submitted as part of a bid.

But this doesn't look like for a bid, because they already have projects from them.

@user24454 it might be related to an audit. Our security auditor is asking for the resumes of everyone that has a certain level of access to critical systems
