Hey, anybody here is good with cell phones technical mumble jumble? :P
I got an LG Optimus, it says this: The phone will only work on a compatible mobile network: GSM Quad Band 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, UMTS Tri Band 900 / 1900 / 2100, and HSDPA / HSUPA 7.2M bps / 5.7M bps. If you don’t have access to a compatible mobile network in your area, the phone can still be used on a Wi-Fi network.
my carrier uses this: VOICE = GSM 900/1800/1900 3G Data = WCDMA 850/2100
