> Making the reactor taller only increases power output without increasing efficiency so it's preferrable to make a wide and flat reactor in almost all situations. Fuel rods interact with each other in the four directions so you get the most bang for your buck putting them next to each other. Pick a pattern that has the most fuel rods possible in line with each other since these interactions increase power output and efficiency. This makes a + pattern better than an X pattern.

@TimPost I need a favor, thaumcraft warp effects are making me crash consistently and turning them off clientside isn't working
@JeffreyLin That's weird

user43095
I'm fine.

It's just sun scorned that makes me crash

user43095

@JeffreyLin How about I get you the materials you need and you have a lot of fun with it?

user43095
12:11 AM
That's a terrible idea.

user43095

@JeffreyLin What's graphite do?
Just cheap coolant or?

user43095
Not sure

user43095
> The Graphite Block is a storage block from Big Reactors that is made from 9 Graphite Bars. It has no other use at the moment.

Lol
What about islands?

user43095
12:27 AM
@Ieuan 1.35 RF/mB/block

user43095
That's terrible

Then you make something in 23x23 (21x21 for that simulator) that does work

user43095

@JeffreyLin Wtf is this
So basically
Coolant makes power
Control rods stop you from making power
Although that design isnt exactly efficient either

user43095
More efficient than yours

user43095
12:40 AM
Optimal should be 1000C but still a high RF/mB/Block

user43095
Since you're dividing by blocks, if a block does not add efficiency, it reduces it.

Yeah

user43095
br.sidoh.org/… High score 3.91

1:19 AM
@JeffreyLin That power output useless though

CURSE YOU TIME WARNER

user43095
@Ieuan I'm following you.

2:07 AM
@Ieuan I can run a /thaumcraft warp Ieuan set 0, but that's going to remove all warp basically forever. I'm not opposed to that because, after gaining quite a bit of it myself, can't stand it and feel like it ruined the mod.

@TimPost Well that would be awesome but it'd be totally up to you

Yeah, I'll run it (and leave the offer open to anyone else wanting it)

user43095
2:19 AM
NEVER ME

6:50 AM
Any way of getting ender shards without hanging out in the end? Well, apparently auto-spawners work, just has to be set up there

4 hours later…
user43095
10:53 AM
@TimPost You're up to KAMI?

user43095
Auto spawners work, just a player "player" has to kill them.

12:01 PM
@JeffreyLin So AA works too?
Or turtles

Definitely not AFKing with warp going on.
Kinda changes how I play when I have time to play.
Basic premise of Minecraft is, if you have sufficient light levels, mobs aren't a thing. I know TC wants to balance itself, but if something is going to kill me when I'm not around, it should be a player.
I'm all for the premise, you go increasingly bat-shit nuts as you unlock cooler and cooler things. But don't summon stuff to kill me if I haven't done anything in 60 seconds.

@TimPost I would have liked it if the TC sanitizing soap had at least some small chance to reduce permanent warp, but then I guess it wouldn't really be permanent.

I'm okay with permanent warp, just don't change how I (fundamentally) play the game with 200 other mods, and sometimes a player has to be there.
(Yeah I know, we have spot loaders, but I tend to forget where I put them)
I might be logged in for .. 6 hours, but actually play 30 minutes out of it.

@TimPost Agreed, increasing my warp has actually made me reluctant to learn more cool stuff because I fear eldritch guardians popping up and targeting all my golems instead of me.

Tiny rant, we have gravestones, I have enough XP berries in my AE system for whatever I might need, just sayin' :)
@gnovice Yeah. It does balance the mod quite a bit, just needs some .. tweaking so it doesn't affect how you decide to pursue the game itself. A little too invasive.

I think he changed is that if you don't gain warp for a while the effects will wear off, and then when you do gain warp you're right back to what you had
(i.e., there's a variable effectiveWarp, that get sets to actualWarp when you increase warp, effectiveWarp slowly decays)

3:19 PM
@KevinvanderVelden Is that in a newer version than we have?

I don't know probably
I haven't played for a while

3:50 PM
We should update sometime so we can play with all the new stuff

4:50 PM
@JeffreyLin button clears out the casting table

2 hours later…
user43095
7:10 PM
@TimPost Usually happens as soon as I touch something when I get back.

@JeffreyLin I need to show you my new armor

user43095
@Ieuan What is it?

@JeffreyLin Bound armor, I can list all that's on it but that takes a while

user43095
@Ieuan Assuming some people can fly.

user43095
didnt you already have Bound armor?

7:12 PM
@JeffreyLin Pretty much everyone can but I could make a platform below it if I ever lost that ability

user43095
And does that mean you want to fite?

@JeffreyLin I made it better
I mean
Yeah
Obviously

user43095
LETS GO
