-- The Management
shift right-click it with a wand, it will empty, and the everfull urn will fill it up again (that's why I put said urn there)

2 hours later…
user43095
2:57 AM
@TimPost It disappears after a while.

user43095
Also I think you broke the server.

Jan 28 at 5:36, by Tim Post
Did anyone see @JeffreyLin in the proximity of a chicken?

user43095
@Coronus On occasion, I'm seen next to as many as six chickens.

user43095
SIX CHICKENS!!

user43095
SIX!

3:01 AM
restarting

@JeffreyLin You are seen next to six chickens... and the universe trembles.

The easiest way to break the server is to have things, and make things with those things that do things.
Itsssssssssssssssssssss up!

user43095

user43095
Oh man

user43095
You're lucky I didn't do that in the overworld.

3:05 AM
what .... is on that map?

user43095
Fire.

user43095
The opposite of what I did to the Nether.

grrr need to do a client restart
stupid lag
@JeffreyLin What exactly are you using to do that anyway?

user43095
@TimPost I swear I only used one bottle of the stuff.

What stuff?

user43095
3:08 AM
And it's Elemental Fire: Aqua

ahhhh

@JeffreyLin YOU DID THAT?

user43095
I... er... chickens
3

6:28 AM
I'll sort that mess of a tree farm I made out a bit later. I have no idea why it harvests behind itself at my base but not here.

7 hours later…
1:23 PM
@JeffreyLin Somewhere inside @JeffreyLin's head; "I want some roasted chicken. Oh, but I'm not allowed to have enough chickens... Oh! I know! Lets put the sea on fire and roast ALL the chickens at once!"

Okay, fixed the sludge boiler (moved it two blocks lower), tree farm utility room now has 300% less poison.
@JeffreyLin I'll leave it to you to set up an induction furnace and pipe the charcoal to the generators.

@TimPost you can't really have 300% less of something...

I don't want all of the wood turned into charcoal, please keep 500 pieces of it in the AE system (just use a level emitter)
@ratchetfreak You can when I build it.
We might get more wood faster if we checker board the farm with hardened dirt, so trees have at least one space next to one another. The harvester spends quite a bit of time on leaves.

3 hours later…
user43095
4:14 PM
@TimPost MFR harvesters only harvest what's in front of it :P

user43095
@TimPost You trust me with level emitters?

user43095
Do we want to keep leaves to burn into terra essentia?

user43095
4:27 PM
Uh, wtf

user43095

user43095
Can we do coke coal furnaces instead?

user43095
Also I'm changing the trees to MFR rubber trees so that we get rubber and charcoal.

user43095
5:52 PM
@TimPost Added two more harvesters and changed your input/export setup to a single interface.

user43095
8:05 PM

user43095
How to drain lava lake.

user43095
9:16 PM
Eldritch guardian conga line?

10:33 PM
@JeffreyLin Yeah, I'll set up a couple of growth lights and change that. We can do coke, but those ovens are quite slow and there's the matter of storing the creosote - did you have an immediate use for creosote from a fluid conduit?

user43095
I have discovered a potential source of lag. The elemental fire I let loose in the Nether keeps chunks loaded in order to spread around. It hasn't been completely put out yet and will probably keep loading chunks.

Gotta void pipe those leaves after you get 100,000 of 'em though, or they gum up the system quite quickly.
@JeffreyLin I have a solution for this. It starts with N, ends in E and the UK resides in the middle.

user43095
@TimPost We don't really need growth lights as five harvesters can't seem to keep up. The creosote oil can go into another boiler, although this current full size boiler should be large enough.

user43095
@TimPost Nuke?

mmmhmm

user43095
10:37 PM
Induction furnace is set up and is happily chugging away.

That'd .. get rid of it, no? Well, that'd get rid of everything in those chunks :)

user43095
I was confused as the first thing that came to mind was New England, but then that's not in the UK.

user43095
That would fix it, but then you wouldn't have a winter wonderland.

I kinda like the effect and it doesn't load any more chunks than a pump would, afaik
like 3 - 5 at the most?

user43095
I'm not sure. You'd need to run /chunkloaders.

10:40 PM
/cofh tps will tell you how much time the nether is taking to process...

user43095
@Jochem It's at 20 TPS.

@JeffreyLin there's a ms value next to that

That's the utilization of the current server over the last 30 days
The update resulted in a pretty significant drop in CPU utilization

user43095
Ah, the ol' Reddit @Kevin hug of death?

Disk utilization going up is a result of aroma finally working

10:43 PM
so did @JeffreyLin start the fire thing on the 26th?

user43095
CPU utilization is impressive.

that looks pretty continuous though, is that just a resolution issue?
the disk I mean

user43095
Was the 25th the day you let us download the saves?

No, that's the day I uploaded the new pack
(which downloaded a ton of libraries once on the server)
But we went from 50% use to about 28% use on the update, so it's time to fire up opis and see what else we can optimize

user43095
This is a pretty solid server. There's no real reason to move it other than block lag.

10:45 PM
Well, I'm wondering
can we fix the block lag?

user43095
There are fireballs in the End from infernal mobs.

user43095
I have been urging you to fire up opis for the last couple weeks :)

That's what I'm saying, I can reset the nether and the end

user43095
Reset the End?

user43095
I have a beacon and other various stuff there.

10:46 PM
@JeffreyLin Until recently it was kind of futile because opis basically blamed everything on the server, it was just noise
Well, the nether
I'll see what opis says later.

user43095
We can reset the End. I'll just need a beacon back.

@TimPost If you want, I can take a look at opis too, I used it a bunch on the server I ran

user43095

user43095
@TimPost ^

user43095
Boiler isn't running yet and I still need to clean it up a bit, but it's definitely coming along.

user43095
10:49 PM
Oh and don't start putting stuff in the boiler without me because I have something that will speed it up.
