Hey guys, would having 23 000+ lines in my hosts file cause my browser to be unable to look up hostnames?

My ISP is being pretty crap today, but I think that paired with the incredibly large hosts file, nothing is able to work at all. Steam chat still works, oddly enough.

Booting into an Ubuntu live CD confirms that the internet is working.

@Arperum They're working on improving it, but basically now it works kinda like the sand physics in Journey
They have one super low detail block (idk what a 3D hexagon is called but it's kinda like that), then when you get closer that turns into an orb with mountains on in, then when you get closer those mountains start having detail
