@jeffreylin_ Some random volcano in the overworld. Our power production, quarries, and rubber farm are in Age 33. We're planning to move all that to a private Age soon tho.

@RonanForman I'll do it with an advanced computer so that people can just click on their choice. It'll keep track of each individual vote internally and display the totals on an advanced monitor.
And was the map itself what was holding us back from Ultimate? I thought it was something with Gregtech. If it's a choice between a new map or an old map that would need some repair for broken machines due to updating, I'd go with old and busted over new hotness. ;)
@gnovice @fredley said that GregTech would require us to change many of our own machines. The first two that come to mind for me are mass fabs and solar panels.
@gnovice Although, the terrain generator changes would require us to go really far out to generate new terrain or reset the map if we wanted the newly generated terrain. It would also cause odd boundaries between existing terrain and new terrain.
@gnovice Another effect of that is that it would leave really new players at a disadvantage if they were to need something from the new terrain (such as an ore that doesn't exist in Direwolf20 but does in Ultimate.)
So yeah. I think my vote stays that we should just reset. Anyway, I'm gonna get to work on that polling computer now. Would anyone like to build a building for polls?
@RonanForman My concept is: You right click on the player detector, then right click on the computer and then click on the option that you want to vote on. There'll be a sign to the left of the detector explaining it and the computer will explain it if you click on the computer without first clicking on the player detector.
