I must be bored, I'm referencing a bunch of HL2 sounds in this map vote plugin configuration.

The one I was using assumed you were playing TF2 and most of its sounds were missing because of it.

Got the mapvote stuff working, but I'm not convinced I like the way it works on HL2DM... you have to hit escape to get the menu for it.

In TF2, the menu just pops up while you're playing.

Oh, that's a SourceMod vote setting... no wonder it defaults to not displaying; it looks terrible in some games.

Good thing I went through those maps... 4 of them had problems of one sort or another.

@TomWij I'll admit, I left because you were just cheesing with the rocket launcher on the roof level. Seriously, are you trying to get me to toggle weapon stay so you can't keep picking up the rocket launcher for ammo?

I liked it, but I had a headache + work to do... and I suck bad....

I prefer Counter Strike, where the weapons are at least a little more realistic

@TomWij Valve killed it on TF2 a while back. I assume they killed it on HL2DM at the same time.

It's probably to cover the ALT+0160 bug which allows you to steal names that contains spaces.

Yes, If your name is "Awesome Wil", I can take the same name as you and you can't figure out which player to kick/ban by entering ALT+0160 instead of the space.

That was fun in Portal 1, was competing with my sister, we got down to half an hour.

@Wil Heck, Portal 1 only took me 3-4 hours the first time I played it... it's a short game.

The only games I really like and can do well is strategy... With FPS I love the story lines (sometimes) and like playing, but I am just rubbish at them...

Portal is like one of the only games I really tried speed running through, but I stopped once they started to invent the Out Of Bounds tricks, which boils finishing Portal down to 10-20 minutes. :S

You simply portal/fly outside the level, so you can quickly skip parts, etc...

Yeah, when I said "three to four hours" the first time, I was including level change times rather than cutting them out like they did in that video.

Yeah, mine is 30 minutes including level change times.

OOB takes the playing out of that, and yeah, kinda hard to compare because of the cut level changes.
