I was able to implement OAuth 2.0 flow from https://api.stackexchange.com/docs/authentication#scope but I do not see user email? I assume there is no way that I can get user email right?

Imho, installing & using Stack-Exchange mobile app shows trust, interest and loyalty. Which is way more serious than just upvoting a silly comment. This action shall be rewarded :)
