I have no regrets about StackEgg, but there's also nothing I could actually do about it over 4 months after the fact.

I am pro-language-equality as demonstrated by my early attempts at rosetta-stone challenges.

I think that "art contests" with strong restrictions on source code should be on topic, while art contests with weak or no source code restrictions should be off-topic. An example of an on-topic art contest would be Tweetable Mathematical Art where the strong 140-140-140 character limit means that a serious amount of golfing went into each good answer.
