I don't mind helping out others, but doing so in a chat makes it obtuse and is asking for repeat questions as it is not easy to search a chat, nor has it a clear mechanism of combining (good) answers with questions especially if there are multiple ones.
How can I link a shared library which is in /usr/lib/src-con with ldconfig command?
I'm able to link libraries in /usr/lib, unless they are in subdirectories.
@strugee @derobert - yeah I try to discourage that in the room. But some ppl don't understand that we're here helping b/c we want to not b/c we have to and our help is on our terms 8-)
@slm SO 70 or so that was me. The profile pick is my setup at home for the last year or so: 2 x landscape + 1 portrait, keyboard and mouse.
