Maybe even with the password?

Of course, it had everything for our website in it. How can I undo this? Or is it possible to restore it to a previous version?

Right now I'm essentially executing tail /var/log/syslog manually every once in a while. Is there something that lets me see what's being added continuously, or do I need to write something myself?
I've got auto-completion working for bash. When I type part of a program name, and then TAB, I get the full command. Works like expected, no complaints.
