elementzI have a few directories, some with a depth of 3, which contain mixed file types. What i need to do is to rm -rf all the directories that do not contain filetype foo. Could this is be achievable e.g. with find somehow? I do know, that I can use find like this: `enter code here`find . ! -name...

@Tshepang I think somewhere I read that the best way to resolve a post that has multiple correct answers is to answer yourself with an answer that combines them. I'm pretty sure I've had to do that at some point. it seems not fair to the original posters, but I'd link to there answers as a token of credit.

@Gilles I probably am... but there are times where I'm like meh, and I'm probably more meh about answers, esp when they're just on the border. I guess I'm even greater of the opinion that poor answers can be downvoted, unless harmful.

would be interesting to know why we only have 6 election candidates in a site that has thousands of users

It's not too surprising when you think about the number of users who are actually active participants on a daily basis

I see that the view for users has changed; much uglier; the change isn't yet visible on SO

@Gilles I really liked your previous Gravar, even though it was a placeholer. I identified it with you.

Q: Preventing a folder from being deleted even by root

RichI know that root can do anything, but is there a way to at least alert root that they are about to delete a folder that perhaps shouldn't be deleted?
