Sorry I got lost a bit, so outer_ring 1 -> 4 then inner_ring 4 -> 8 then outer_ring?

I think that outer_ring 1 -> 8 looks far nicer...

Yeah, outer ring 1->4 (using ranges) will equal rolls 1 through 8.

Then using inner ring, to go from 9 through 16.

And then back to outer ring for those pairs closest to the middle segment, and then pairs closest to corners.

It's kind of confusing, but when looking at the pretty print, there is a system to the madness...

I tried to do that, but my put the overflow in the next ring, didn't really work... So I decided, to have smaller jumps to go rolls 1-> 4 rather than rolls 1->8

That shows how my overflow always goes in the outer ring, which makes jumps and it looks ugly
