Well friend. I am sorry but will be reverting the "we" to "you" since I intend to leave this site for ever. I don't feel i belong in a place where mediocre content is embraced and requests for correct answers are frowned upon. I am not part of the "we".

You helped me make the question less provocative, so that they whine less, and I appreciate it, but I realized that I can't pretend and sugarcoat their mistakes. It wouldn't be me.

Well, I can't say I agree with 'mediocre', at least in terms of contributions done by most members of the site. A couple of bad eggs might make a stink but it doesn't mean we need to throw out the whole batch.

I will say that (on Arqade at least) one of the key things I've found is to treat others with respect. It's why I asked Chris not to make wild assumptions against you based on rep points, and it's why people initially balked at your question. People don't like being told they're crap or that they've "made mistakes", especially from people looking into the group rather than from with

You treat others with respect regardless of whether you disagree with them. Unlike the majority of the community I interacted with.

Initially i wanted to do exactly that. Be an expert provide good answers. Comment on bad answers. Try to change the policy of Arqade on quality. Commenting on incorrect answers made me the "bad guy", the one that "insults" others by assuming they didn't do any research (which they didnt, :D ).
Trying to change the policy i got everyone on the defensive.
I never said they produce bad content. Some of them produce perfect content, some good, some average and some terrible.
The bottom line is,.. they like i the way it is. They aren't willing to improve it.
They cant accept making mistakes. It shouldnt be seen as a bad thing. If a doctor tells me "quit drinking you are making a mistake, you ll die from cirrhosis" telling him that he insults me would be laughable.
Anyway, I wont bother you anymore. It was nice meeting you friend. Take care :)
