Q: What's the difference between _Zombie, Run! Zombie Finder_ and _Zombies, Run!_?

unforgettableidThere are two different augmented-reality zombie games which work on Android devices: Zombie, Run! Zombie Finder Zombies, Run! It's confusing that they have such similar names. Please tell me about the difference between them.

@MadaraUchiha Which app do you want to look at to see if it's really open-source? And what made you suspicious?
@MadaraUchiha: Note also that even some open-source apps depend on the closed-source GMS, and therefore may not run on certain Android devices such as Amazon's Kindle series. GMS is not freeware, and AFAIK it's illegal to install it on an Amazon Kindle device.

@Sridhar: hi :)
Let's look at your question.
1
Q: How to root my Karbonn A51+ Mobile?

SridharMy phone is not rooted. I'm using Stock Rom. I have tried some apps to make it rooted like Kingo, Iroot, Framaroot and a tool like SRS Root Tool But still I can't. Please do help me to root my phone via PC (which is running on Ubuntu & Windows) or anything else? I'm using Kitkat-4.4.2 Thanks ...

What version of Android are you running?
oh, I see you edited it in.
let me think.
@Sridhar: ok, I added a comment.

@unforgettableid, Can I join with you within an half hour, Don't Mistake me

@Sridhar: what? Do you mean "you are busy and can you come back in half an hour?"
@Manubhargav: hi :)

@unforgettableid hi
using framaroot doesn't need any PC access even

@Manubhargav ah, even better. That way it's even easier to use.

@unforgettableid Yea that's a clean way to do it, But if anyone wants to use PC, he can go for SRS android tool

2:47 AM
@Manubhargav: Sridhar said Framaroot didn't work with his phone.
@Manubhargav please read:

@Manubhargav no worries :)

@unforgettableid If he can give the errors generated, we can follow on, and help

@Manubhargav: Agreed.
@Manubhargav And I think he will: he has been quite responsive so far.
@Manubhargav If not, then we can't help him; but we can help somebody else.

@unforgettableid Always :)

@Manubhargav: By the way, if you have spare time, it would be excellent if you could please look at my question and see if you think it is a good question or not.

It still has zero upvotes. :(

@unforgettableid I've was seeing that now :), I'll let you know
@unforgettableid very detailed explanation (y)

@Manubhargav Thanks :) Yeah, I was confused until I looked into the matter.
It's sad that the two development teams chose such similar names.

@unforgettableid +1+1 for letting me know of , not just one, but two games for the weekend ;)

@Manubhargav :)
@Manubhargav The newer game, if I recall correctly, has higher Google Play ratings. Also, it lets you play indoors, if you own a treadmill.

@unforgettableid Whoa!! Thats cool

@unforgettableid Also Can you have a look at this question?

@Manubhargav so i.stack.imgur.com/k3aze.jpg is from "3G, 4G and Beyond" by Martin Sauter?

@unforgettableid Yes :)

@Manubhargav OK. Please review my proposed edit to your answer.
@Manubhargav: OK. Now your answer is good enough; I have upvoted it. :)

@Manubhargav: Do you want answers to the above question? ^

@unforgettableid It poses as a pretty interesting issue and has a Bounty, all the more reason to look at it. I first thought it was a TouchWiz bug

@Manubhargav No clue. I don't really need any more reputation points. 284 points is enough.
@Manubhargav The only reason why I asked you to review my question is because "0 upvotes" means that a post might be downvoted later.

@unforgettableid Oh No worries

@unforgettableid I've been researching about this and hit an end, No clue as to what caused it, so asked you to have a fresh look at it

3:22 AM
@Manubhargav dunno. Just leave it. Maybe someone else will see it and will know.

@unforgettableid Upvote it, if you think I've researched about it & put enough effort

A: A swipe on status bar opens on quick setting instead of notifcation panel

ManubhargavMaybe it's some TouchWiz bug and if you can't figure out what's wrong, you could use a third party app called Color Status Bar. It has some themes built-in for notification panels. Or you could also have a look at some modded TouchWiz-like notification app in this XDA thread EDIT: If the issue ...

@Manubhargav Too hard to analyze. Too tired. :)
Good to speak with you though!
@Manubhargav: Have a good night (or day).

@unforgettableid Thanks

Yes I have installed USB Drivers@unforgettableid

I have updated my question @unforgettableid

@unforgettableid I'm not in the games section, so I keep my fingers off those, sorry. Though "Zombies, Run" is partly going into the fitness section (motivator) :)

Is it me or Google's new favicon looks odd, very very odd!

@Firelord Confuses the heck out of me – but we'll have to get used to that :)

@Izzy Yeah. But, is there a firefox addon that you know which can get rid of favicons?

2 hours later…
2:21 PM
@Firelord I didn't care about that. But checking the relevant ones I use: Classic Theme Restorer seems capable of that, it has an option (check-box) to "show bookmark icons on the tab". Didn't see any change when unchecking, though – maybe that requires a restart. Apart from that: a UserStyle should suffice.
