@FaheemMitha That "referencing" only works if you were recently in chat (or if the one @@referencing you is a mod) :) We were just talking about "following the chat silently" (without being logged in, and thus the avatar not appearing in the participants list). If you do that, you might of course see any reference to you even when not having logged in for a year :)

@FaheemMitha I see it now: when you're "inactive" and your avatar get's "shaded", it becomes almost invisible (check for yourself before you start typing here). Give a little time and let it drift to the far right, and it's easily missed – which is what must have happened to me yesterday :)
