I've a question I'm not sure I can ask here
It's more a suggestion I'd like to ask for, or what would you do in general
I've been working in industry for 3 years now
And I like it a lot, I work for an R & D department specifically
however I don't have a PhD
I've been looking around for new opportunities
I've applied for a specific company, but I've been pointed out that there's a PhD opportunity
And I've been suggested to apply both
because I could be a good match for both of them
but I assume I'll be able to chose between one of them
Assume I get offer from both (but of course I could NOT get offer from any) do you think there's a benefit from giving up industry for some year and getting a PhD?
