Can anybody tell me what is happening with my last question? How did it get so popular? ^o^
I thought it was a very crappy question-an indication I was still not aware of many things on this site and I was asking stupid things. I even thought of deleting it shortly after I wrote it. I thought it is one very crappy question. But now I go home and see it is one of the most popular questions now, how did it happened? :o
Should I start correcting it now it is so popular or is it better to leave things the way they are?

@YordanYordanov the hot network question list has some super secret sauce to determine "hotness" points. Don't worry about it. Seems like you are catching on to how to ask questions. You should try answering some also. Welcome to AC.SE

Hey guys, I'm trying to find the first edition of Weinberg's Gravitation at a reasonable price. Someone knows a site or something? With reasonable I mean under 100 euros. Let's say a neighborhood of 100 euros. I already have the paperback international edition but it's written too small for me to study and the quality of the pages badly suck

@StrongBad Thank you, even if I was looking for a new book, and if almost 70 dollars is a lot for a used book, this looks like the best solution

Wow, I just got a silver badge! I can't believe it! I am here for about a week or so and already got silver badge! Is it something common here or am I an exception?
I have decided not to change anything in my question. As a biologist I was taught evolution runs by chance and if I had the chance to make a question so bad, that it is actually good I better not touch it! :) Sometimes faith can make a joke on us all!

@YordanYordanov don't get too caught up in reputation and badges.

Thank you for your recommendation @StrongBad, but I still fell like "the new kind of the block" here and I am still reading "the manual" for this site and questions and answers different people have left. So, I think it will take me a while to get used to this place enough to answer questions. But I thank you any way :)
I still don't understand what is the point of all these things
I just like the fact I have enough reputation to be able to talk here :)
It seems to me like the chat is sometimes better than the Q&A section.

@YordanYordanov the badges are mostly a game, but some of them encourage good behavior (e.g., edits and reviews) the voting helps people find good questions and answers. Chat can be helpful, but it depends on what people have time and patience for.

right now I am happy I just was able to find a place where researchers meet.
It was a dreams of mine for a lot of time
But the forums and social media disappointed me.
Too much idiots I think. This happens when everyone can talk but no one listens.
Not that the other is a good thing
but sometimes one just needs the correct audience :)
I just want to see what it is to publish now.
It was another dream of mine for a long long time!
But I always had some problems before I could feel I am ready. Now I am. I just need to find the right place
And I hope you guys can help :)

Q: Is this the right forum for a "grad school related" question

EngrStudentbackground: There is a masters program that I am very interested in attending (remotely) and they want letters of recommendation. Previously I had asked former professors, and they did most of the structural work in the letter, but when I asked peers, managers, and coworkers in industry they are ...
