@Wrzlprmft your proposed edit of the "terminology" tag made me laugh. If we were really being good academics we should make it more verbose, not less! But it's a good edit, aside from that.
 
@Jeff But what good is a more verbose tag wiki if it does not actually explain the tag?
Also, I think that many tags simply do not need an extensive tag wiki. It’s good to have the option to create one if needed, but if there is no confusion as to when the tag should be applied, what’s the point?

@Wrzlprmft Oh, sorry, that was entirely sarcasm on my part. A common academic tendency toward verbose, jargon-laden, unclear writing is one of my pet peeves. There was nothing but good things about your edit.
 
@Jeff Your swinging back and forth between sarcasm and none made me doubt. And when in doubt, I always answer under the assumption of no sarcasm. If sarcasm is admitted, I then claim my response was sarcastic too.
