Is anyone experienced willing to read my research & teaching statements (targeting postdoctoral and junior faculty positions) and provide me with a brief feedback? @AleksandrBlekh you can delete your own chat messages. Or edit them, for that matter (so if you want to clarify, there's no need to repost)

As for my chat messages, I've tried to edit the initial one, but I got message, informing me that the message is too old to be edited, hence my second post and request to delete. How can I delete my messages? I tried to click on the cross sign at the top right corner of the message, but it didn't help.

Oh, huh, I didn't realize there was a time limit. Anyway, I don't see the cross sign you're talking about, but if you click on the white (or, greenish) space at the left of the message, there will be a popup menu that should contain a "delete" option. Let me know if it doesn't.

@DavidZ: Hmm... Indeed, there is a delete option, which I can see now for my most recent message. Strangely, that option is not available for the two previous ones. They just have one option: "flag for moderator".

Maybe that's time-limited as well.
