why would a team place a player on waivers and then IR as opposed to placing him directly on IR

@edmastermind29 Yeah, I never had anything against Vick, I think he paid his dues for the whole dog fighting incident. I just can't wait until opening night....Pittsburgh/New England!!!!

@steelerfan agreed...he's made the most of his second chance, imo. that's gonna be a decent game...kinda wish brady was playing because those are two AFC beasts right there.

BOB turned Matt McGloin into something relevant at PSU. I'd trust that he knows what he's doing with the QBs...and the offense. Beyond that, Watt else is there?
