I started going through the unanswered question queue last night. One class of questions I've started closing as "too broad" or "don't understand the question" are "what is the recommended resource for learning or getting started with X".

I started using the tag why-does-this-fail for unanswered questions about things the OP has tried that don't work (as opposed to 'how do I get a QA job' or 'please recommend a tutorial).
