@Liam I hate when stuff like that happens.

Another today. Jeez, dude, get a fricken life.
Someone has far too much time on their hands if they spend their evening downvoting someone on SO
"Oh no 75 imaginary points have disappeared from my account, what will I do! Is the great british bake off on?"
LOL
:)

Morning all :)

@WedaPashi Monring weda

Hows it going @Liam?

8:54 AM
@Liam it's probably the same kind of person who thinks liking a post on facebook cures cancer, or saves lives.

@Aravona ha ha
@WedaPashi Not bad weda, you?

10:00 AM
@Liam: Fine. Buried with bad code as of now.

What does this mean?
"Bumped by Community user"

2:40 PM
@WedaPashi ha! Oh sorry I see what you mean :)
I'm not sure

@Liam: Not a problem. I can take a guess what might have happened (Ref. to Oh sorry I see what you mean)
I posted the msg "What does this mean?" and before I could upload the image, a McAfee pop-up msg popped up asking whether I wanted my machine to be scanned (and consequently slow it down so much that I'll have a time window where I can search a peak in Himalayas using my cellphone and map application)
The irony is that, it takes a couple of minutes before it bugs out from my screen.
Never mind, a Windows machine with a developer is good for nothing than to throw it out of the window to kill another developer.

Q: jquery ajax() call is successful but success function is not triggered

SteveI find I can trigger the success callback is I set async to false. But async: false is deprecated - per the big yellow warning in my browser's console "jQuery Synchronous XMLHttpRequest https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/". What are people doing about this? Just letting their apps run and ignoring the ...

But you've commented out the success handler!!!! ha ha

(at) Liam. @Liam :D

Am I the only one in here who feel emotional for the good characters when a decent TV series ends? Already missing Person of Interest :(

@WedaPashi It means that the background process picked that question to be bumped up to the front of the results, probably because it didn't have any upvoted answers. It's like how people edit old questions to move them backup to the front.
