So I can dive in lakes and the sea / ocean but only to a depth of 18 meters. I qualified as well as a drysuit diver, which means I know how to use a drysuit properly. I need 4 more dives (12 total) and a second speciality to get to a level 2 diver (specialist diver) and then 24 total dives and 4 complete specialisations lets me do the Advanced Open Water course which means diving down to 30 meters :)
I actually did my diving at Stoney Cove, which is a flooded quarry.
@RoryAlsop thanks. Looks like someone gave me a bunch of upvotes in a row, so if the community bot reverses them, you might have to congratulate me again.
Maybe someone over here is experienced in climbing route setting? If so, maybe you could help with this question: diy.stackexchange.com/questions/95066/… (shameless self-promotion ;-) )
@StrongBad Yeah, as I said in a comment, it's more of a convenience thing. If it's only for one or two small holds and I'm too lazy to get a ladder, it might be more difficult but still more convenient than getting the right tool
