Those apps are just not trustworthy imo

@Wills well Ive not had a issue with my app at all so far. The biggest difference was I went up 0.33ft and apparently didn't come down... That's like 30cm... Not an issue. Probably more an issue though Wills not with the apps but with the gyroscope in the phone... As my xeperia Z1 is rather old now, it would be better on the Z3

The app I use covers a whole range of activities, with estimates in speed, calories burnt, distance etc. And for distance it's been damn accurate

I tested it on the dogs walk, variations are because I wander a bit at his break point but it's steadily been 0.68-0.70 miles :)

I'm going to compare it to our Garmin GPS next time we do a days worth of geocaching. That'll give an accurate waypointed comparison :)

@Aravona Yes maybe it's not the app but the data it receives from the phone. But what you are describing, the 30cm issue, sum this up for several thousand times...
