@requiem I think the ends have just been wrapped around to keep them out the way, I think the knot might be a clove hitch but I'm not posiitve

Shem makes a good point on that question, you could prob belay a mini off that anchor...

Yep pretty sure that's what it is with some extra twists to keep the loose ends out the way

What the heck is happening to me.. hurt my wrist again, the same. This looks bad now.

You may have developed RSI, if so then you're like me, wrists will get hurt very easily.

Ever since I've hurt my wrist, I used to travel with a friend on his motorcycle. Usually he parks it, but he had a call to attend today, so he asked me to park it. While putting it on the main stand I think it jerked and now is swollen.

ouch @WedaPashi - I've sprained my wrist, and that's painful - I can't imagine what it feels like to be you

@WedaPashi not bad - really busy with school, so I've not been around SE much. I miss TGO and SU

@Liam I'm not sure it's a water knot; the loose ends come out on opposite sides. It looks more like the ends were wrapped through the carabiner then tied in a series of overhands around the standing part.

(I was looking into slippage issues with knots in webbing, which the water knot is also known for, so that pic caught my eye.)
