That's right.Option like: In TWRP -> Backup -> Backup from Modem or Efs.

stored under /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/<some number>/<date>/ right?

Also, do I need CWM or will TWRP do? The file you linked to has a "CWM" in it.

BACKGROUND:
The plan was to flash Resurrection Remix for S3 and go from stock JB to Lollipop on my GT i9300. However, incessant bootlooping made me change my mind and I decided to settle for CM11. CM11 works like a charm except that I have "No Service" problem and "Baseband Unknown". I did do a Nandroid backup prior to all this.

WHAT HAVE I DONE SO FAR?
I was reading up on this and similar threads show that I must flash a modem. There was a list of modems on another XDA thread but it stated that these will work with stock JB only so no luck there.
