@DavidZhang Usually, yes. Especially for packed arrays of machine-sized numbers.

@rcollyer @OleksandrR concerning this post the cheapest it to buy the service for a few hours or days (e.g. rescale ). My interest on this type of services is more for the CFD simulations, but why not give it a try on Mathematica... they even accept systemModeler! (rescale.com/pricing)

Any people out there using Mathematica for accounting purposes? I find myself at the point of implementing a double-entry system with cashflow forecasting and nested accounts; closest thing that's free is gnucash but it doesn't do cashflow. Already have an import from html (from my bank) and an export to .qif (for gnucash &c) and a sketch of a simple design using associations/Query.
I have found one question mathematica.stackexchange.com/q/45088/4811 but nothing else around. A question on sx mma doesn't seem quite right at this stage, too non-specific.
I'd put it on github probably, something I want to share.

For people with sufficient reputation score, take a look at the list of question with delete votes. I think a cleanup is due. Many closed off-topic questions add no value to the site, just clutter.

@fairflow Wolfram Community is very appropriate for exploring/sharing ideas, as you say Stackexchange is not really built for that.
