I'm late to this kerfuffle, but the image is strictly not part of the paper. It appears only on the cover. It was probably done at the editor's request. Frankly, it's pretty lame, considering how many times one has seen such an image.
The real image in the paper is much cooler.
The cover image is not the same as eldo's code, although it might be very close. The radii are different and it's styled different. I don't know if that infringes on SE policy. The OP might have told the editor where he got help.
Given the changes, it might very well not be copyright infringement, if there were a copyright to be infringed.
List of unanswered questions has say, 50 pages. If I want to see what is on page 45,I need to click on multiples of 5 to get to there. Any way faster?
