Is it possible to download the official Mathematica installer using bittorrent? I'm assuming it's not as easy as just searching for "mathematica torrent", since I'm guessing a lot of the results that come up are going to be illegitimate.
Has anyone vertical Windows toolbar on the left side of the screen?
Because I do and very often MMA doesn't care, while maximizing the notebook window it hides behind it and leaves space on the right... quite annoying...
@MichaelE2 It is not immediately clear to me why V10 introduced, say, DamData[...]when it also provides EntityValue["Dam", ...]. Functions like DamData just seem to pollute the global namespace.
@VitaliyKaurov I was wrong, this is actually something different and it doesn't work in Firefox either. Perhaps the [...](...) link syntax is unsupported? link
@MichaelE2 I suppose the two (or more) different lists of properties in CountryData are some sort of concession to backwards-compatibility. Perhaps over time they will become unified, with the ...Data functions becoming thin wrappers over Entity... functions.
@WReach That's my guess. I think they probably rethought their approach to curated data and decided that *Data was klunky. It doesn't explain the extra *Data functions, though.
