I wouldn't see it that extreme. The main problem is just that she's too impatient and has an attitude of "everyone who doesn't see those problems as pressing as I do doesn't care about the site".

But why do you want her to stay if she won't work constructively... one of the first rules is to be nice and she

is anything but.

However, the constructive cleanup efforts she did have largely been well-received, which she seems to ignore.

@Catija Because it is never a good thing to have someone who does contribute to the site in a constructive way just leave it or even being kicked out just because of some stupid recent event.

Browbeating mods into submission is not constructive.

However, I'm not sure if it's appropriate to discuss this matter with you here in that (hopefully) private chat room. I have pinged the other mods for considering how to proceed in this matter. And if nothing else helps maybe we have to take more sever actions.

I'm sorry, but the way she spoke to you the other day about deleting the decades was disgusting, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate and it was horrid to see.

The problem is that she employs quite a self-confident personality with sarcastic humour that encourages a somehow more harsh or at least sarcastic tone towards her, not necessarily intended ill-meaning. But this doesn't pair well with the rather thin skin she seems to have on the other hand. So much to that.

Well, whatever she does, she gets what she wants, and I guess it's the end result that matters.

@Catija Well, this was also a bit of a weakness from me, since I realized to late, that the decades thing wasn't really too big a matter and her approach wasn't too bad (and I was glad she followed it through). So I couldn't just say "yeah, you're absolutely right, I was making a fuss out of nothing", so I chose a rather spiteful approach to that. Might not have been the best situation at all. She definitely wasn't acting very appropriate, but I also didn't handle it in the best way possible

She will not always get what she wants and we are onto it. Afterall her claims that she won't contribute anymore that much anyway makes a suspension (if need be) at least a bit less feared to me.

But I feel we (and I) have failed if we drive a user away, so I tend to try to please everyone. We had an intance of a very contributive user driven completely away by a stupid rollback war. And I'm talking about one of the most prolific editors ever, who asked and answered many questions and also contributed on meta. And that for two years since the site started. And that stupid incident let him to completely abandon the site. And that was definitely a loss.

She says that over and over and threatens it repeatedly but she never follows through on it. She claims that she has no time to be on the site and yet she's here almost constantly...

I wasn't here for that, so it's not something I'm aware of... I understand if you guys are shy about that sort of thing happening again but you can't go around trying to make everyone happy, particularly when, as she said herself, "my OCD does not allow me to be around stuff I feel is wrong"... nothing we do will ever be OK for her if it doesn't fit what she sees as "correct".

Yeah, add to this that I got up with a slight hangover at 4 pm and had to throw an Aspirin, only to find this. But at least I have vacation so I don't really have anything meanigful to do. ;-)
