It is a pretty scary opening indeed and when I started playing, that got me a few times and then I did some analysis about it.

@Unihedron I like the question (I just created the tag) but man the replayer is NOT suitable for atomic chess...

@Andrew Well, I left [Variant "Atomic"] in there. Maybe I could submit a PR after failing again and again at javascript to your replayer and request an update to include atomic chess?

ha if you can do it that's fine with me, iirc the code is kind of reasonably setup

probably just have to do a check for the atomic flag in captures, and then add extra "remove" transitions for adjacent non-pawns

it's a 0x88 board, so you can find the adjacent squares and then do an on-board check

you can add your own graphics if you're so inclined on a game-by-game basis

you can checkout the atomic branch and then edit the index.html file

you can open the index file with any browser (you can do it directly from the working directory most likely) and then you can edit the index.html file and drop in the pgn of any other atomic games in place of one of the games already there
